BADMINTON AT THE PHRC

We are thrilled to welcome Chloe Rowe as our new Junior Badminton Coach!  Rowe was taught by the PHRC's Jolyon Thompson as a young athlete and went on to Humber College, where she became one of the most decorated student-athletes in Humber's history, competing for the badminton team from 2016-2020. During her four-year career, the Newcastle native captured four OCAA and four CCA titles, becoming the only female athlete in Humber's history to win four national titles.  She also reached the top of the national rankings in women's doubles. 

Besides her tremendous accomplishments on the court, Rowe has been just as successful in coaching. She's spent over five years coaching high-performance and non-competition levels at K.C. Badminton Club – one of the biggest clubs in the country. She was then promoted to the manager of non-competition in 2020. Welcome on board Chloe! 

Program Details:

Location: Town Park Recreation Centre, 62 McCaul St. Port Hope

Tuesdays: 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Thursdays: 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Cost: $225 per player for the season.

ADULT BADMINTON

Our adult badminton programs are currently running year-round indoors at the Town Park Recreation Centre in Port Hope and St. Mary's School in Cobourg.  Please contact administrator Tony Choy for details.

Payment may be made by e-transfer to admin@phrc.ca for all badminton registrations, however please be sure to include a note that indicates for which program you are registering.
